SAINT LUCIA DISCUSSES NEW SYSTEM TO DETECT POSSIBLE DISEASES AT PORTS.(October 9th 2025)
The Ministry of Health has taken a proactive step towards ensuring full preparedness against the importation and possible spread of infectious diseases, particularly with the gradual increase in tourist numbers. Representatives from the department recently attended a regional meeting where they reported on their successful findings from testing a new system, developed by the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA), targeted at achieving this goal.
