Second Body Washes Ashore On North Coast

A second body has washed ashore along Trinidad’s north-eastern coast at Balandra Beach.
The unidentified male was reportedly found by a villager on September 7th.
Reports indicate that the villager, while on his property, noticed vultures feeding on an unidentified object, later confirmed to be a decomposing body.
The discovery was reported to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, and officers responded to the scene.
The body was found in an advanced state of decomposition, with the right hand and foot missing, clothing wrapped around the neck, and visible burn marks.
On 5th September, an unidentified body washed ashore near O’Halloran Trace, Cumana, Toco.
