After nearly 15 years marked by delays and skepticism, St. Jude hospital, a symbol of stalled public works, appears to be nearing completion.
During a recent tour, health officials were no longer just looking at blueprints; they were walking through finished surgical rooms, observing work in overdrive, and noting the arrival of new equipment.
The long wait for a functioning hospital may, at last, be coming to an end.
