Minister for Tourism and Commerce, Dr. Ernest Hilaire, says the ride share company is currently bypassing three critical regulatory hurdles: obtaining a trade license, registering with the Inland Revenue Department for taxes, and receiving certification under the tourism development act.
Dr. Hilaire says he has already issued a second formal warning to the company after they ignored a request to suspend their services.
