STANLEY FELIX ACCUSES LABOUR PARTY OF BETRAYAL OVER CASTRIES CENTRAL
Independent candidate Stanley Felix has hit out at the St. Lucia Labour Party, accusing the party leadership of betrayal and shortsightedness after backing incumbent Richard Frederick for Castries Central. Felix says he was blindsided by the decision, particularly since the Prime Minister had allegedly indicated Frederick would not join his cabinet. The former Senate President, recently cleared of a perverting the course of justice charge, also claims he received no support from the SLP during his arrest and termination.
