Student Held With Cannabis On School Compound
A teenage boy was arrested on a school compound yesterday after he was found in possession of a quantity of cannabis.
Reports indicate that a security guard at a Secondary School in the Southern Division conducted a search of a male student’s book bag at around 8:05am on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025.
The search resulted in the discovery of a quantity of cannabis inside the bag.
The school’s administration and officers of the Division were informed about the matter, and the boy was arrested in connection with the find.
The minor was charged with possession of cannabis and is expected to appear before the Children’s Court, Fyzabad, on Friday, October 3rd, 2025.
