Sweeting: We Continue To Pave, Nothing Has Changed

With potholes multiplying across several roads following weeks of rainfall, Works and Family Island Affairs Minister Clay Sweeting said the government is looking to ramp up paving efforts and explore technology to speed up repairs.
Sweeting addressed mounting concerns over road conditions ahead of this morning’s weekly Cabinet meeting at the Office of the Prime Minister.
He also pushed back against suggestions that the recent increase in roadworks was simply a push to prepare for King Charles III’s visit, insisting the Ministry’s paving programme will continue well beyond the royal visit.
