Taitt Fixing Signal Hill
Nigel Taitt, the representative for Signal Hill/Patience Hill, has declared that leadership is not a role he approaches casually, emphasizing that his tenure is defined by commitment, dedication, and consistency. Addressing a Tobago People’s Party (TPP) meeting ahead of the January 12th elections, Taitt positioned himself as a « humble servant » whose primary focus remains understanding and serving his constituents.
A major focal point of his address was the persistent water issues facing the district. Taitt revealed that he has fostered a direct working relationship with WASA management to ensure that leaks and shortages are addressed swiftly via personal phone calls. He pledged to continue these efforts to guarantee a proper and consistent water supply for the entire area.
On the infrastructure front, Taitt listed specific ongoing and future roadwork projects he is championing, including repairs at Guinea Hill, Orange Hill Main Road, and Graham Road. He also highlighted attention to Mentor Drive and various personal driveways, asking the electorate to extend his mandate so he can complete the journey he has started.
