Talks Continue Between Government And Hilton Over Local Presence
Minister of Land and Legal Affairs Saddam Hosein has assured that conversations are actively taking place between the Government of Trinidad and Tobago and Hilton.
He was responding to a question in the House of Representatives regarding the Government’s immediate plan to address the potential withdrawal of the Hilton International brand from Trinidad and Tobago.
« I wish to inform this Honourable House that the talks and conversations are actively ongoing with the Hilton and the government of Trinidad and Tobago. I would not want to give any further details of those talks in order to cause or to prejudice any future outcome of this particular matter. »
