TAMPA TEACHER SENTENCED FOR SUPPLYING FIREARMS TO TRINIDAD
A Hillsborough County high school teacher has been sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison for her role in supplying firearms to a transnational criminal organization based in Trinidad. Shannon Nicole Samlalsingh, 47, of Temple Terrace, pleaded guilty in June 2025 to conspiracy to make false statements to a firearms dealer.
