The Buzz About Mosquitoes Summer Camp hosted by the Environmental Health Division
As part of its recently launched Vector Awareness Campaign, the Environmental Health Division within the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs hosted a dynamic five day summer camp under the theme “The Buzz about Mosquitoes.” The camp, led by Environmental Health Officers, provided young participants with engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Through a series of interactive sessions, the children gained valuable knowledge on the critical role of vector control and the serious health risks posed by mosquito-borne diseases. The initiative not only raised awareness but also empowered the next generation with the tools and knowledge to contribute to mosquito prevention efforts within their homes and communities.
