THREE CHARGED IN $2 3M VAT FRAUD LINKED TO THA INVOICES
Businessman Richie Habib, Yolande Clarke, and Habib International Ltd have been ordered to stand trial in the High Court in connection with an alleged $2.3 million VAT fraud involving the Tobago House of Assembly (THA). The decision was made on March 2nd by Master Kimitria Grey, who ruled that prosecutors presented sufficient evidence for the matter to proceed to trial on a charge of conspiracy to cheat the public revenue.
