The Ministry of Legal Affairs is offering a limited-time opportunity for businesses to get their affairs in order. Companies, both for-profit and non-profit, that have fallen behind on their filings can now benefit from an amnesty period to restore their standing. This initiative aims to improve compliance and data integrity within Trinidad and Tobago’s corporate registry.
The amnesty, which includes the restoration of companies to the official register, is a chance for businesses to avoid penalties and ensure they are compliant with legal requirements. The deadline to take advantage of this is September 15th, 2025.
Business owners in Tobago can get assistance at the newly relocated District Registrar’s Office, now on the first floor of the Caroline Building, Number 11 Hamilton Street, Scarborough. For more information, you can call 223-2453, extensions 3463, 3352, 3386 or 3044, or email rgdcommunications@gov.tt.
