Tobago Robbery Gang Taken Down — Four Charged After Investigation

A band of robbery offenders has been successfully dismantled in Tobago.
The Tobago Division of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service believes they were responsible for a series of attacks reported between September and November 2024.
During this period, several victims reported being robbed of jewellery and cash, prompting an intensive investigation by officers.
Following weeks of enquiries, investigators arrested several suspects believed to be directly connected to the string of robberies. Four have since been charged in relation to the incidents.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jahmaili Gordon of Bethel was charged with two counts of robbery with aggravation, one count of robbery with violence, and one count of housebreaking and larceny. He was denied bail and remanded in custody.
Twenty-five-year-old Italian Macloud of Orange Hill, Tobago, was charged with two counts of robbery with aggravation and was granted bail with reporting conditions.
Meanwhile, 19-year-old Chelsea Stodart of Canoe Bay, Tobago, appeared before a magistrate and was charged with two counts of receiving stolen items. She received bail in the sum of $15,000.
