Tobago Welcomes The Azamara Quest, Launching The 2025/2026 Cruise Season

Tobago welcomed approximately 702 tourists on Friday as the island’s 2025/2026 cruise ship season officially began with the maiden call of the Azamara Quest.
According to a release from the Division of Tourism, 41 scheduled cruise calls are expected between today, Friday November 14th, 2025, and April 10th, 2026, including five maiden calls. The island is set to host 16 cruise lines this season and receive approximately 48,000 visitors at the ports of Scarborough and Charlotteville.
The release added that the 2025/2026 season will also feature arrivals from some of the world’s leading cruise lines.
Secretary of Tourism, Tashia Burris, said the start of the cruise season is always a moment of pride and excitement for Tobago. She added that each call represents not just the arrival of visitors, but also opportunities for local entrepreneurs, artisans, and communities to share Tobago’s unique story with the world.
Secretary Burris also noted that this season’s diverse lineup, including several first-time arrivals, underscores Tobago’s consistent presence on the global cruise map.
According to the Port Authority, the MS Insignia will be visiting the island on Tuesday, November 18th.
