As the countdown to the 12 January Tobago House of Assembly elections enters its final hours, political activity on the island has intensified. The Tobago People’s Party (TPP) has taken to the streets in a significant show of force, launching their ‘Blue Wave’ motorcade to rally voters before the polls open.
The procession began this morning at the Shaw Park Food Hub and is progressing across the island. The motorcade has been sighted moving through Les Couteux, as candidates and supporters make a final bid to connect with the electorate. This island-wide tour represents the party’s closing argument to the public, aiming to maximise visibility and voter turnout ahead of tomorrow’s critical vote.
