T&T Powerlifters Set For Major World Test In Lithuania

The Trinidad and Tobago Powerlifting Federation has named a five-member team set to compete at the IPF World Classic Open Powerlifting Championships in Lithuania, set to take place from June 13th to 21st.
The event will see first-time appearances for the number one-ranked female powerlifter in T&T, Kezia Hunte, along with fourth-ranked Deresay Jay Alleyne.
Also on the female side, Zarha Padia, who is no stranger to the event, placed first in the 84-kilogramme category last year while winning four gold medals at the Pan-American Championships.
On the men’s side, representing T&T are 120kg champion Joseph Mc Donald, and national open champion, Rondel Hunte.
