TTO Cyclists Shine On Opening Day Of Easter Grand Prix

Day one of the Easter Cycling Grand Prix was marred by an unfortunate event but their were some races on the day and here is a look at some of the successful riders who graced the podium.
The Trinidad and Tobago Cycling Federation’s Easter International Cycling Grand PRIX also serves as Caribbean Track Championships 2026 and the COPACI America’s Track Cup.
With event 1 for Elite and International men seeing a team TTO sweep with Liam Trepte coming in first followed by Akil Campbell and Tariq Welch
Campbell topped the podium in the UCI Scratch Race for the Elites and international cyclist…Gustav Johannson of Sweden was second…with Trepte third
The youths were also on show and in the Girls under 11…Abigail Titte of Rigtech Sonic took gold with Leah Mitchell of Madonna Wheelers – silver and Renae Titte bronze
Taariq Guevara of Vapor Wake Multi sport was first in the Boys U13 followed by Aedan Garcia of Arima Wheelers and Rigtech’s Isaac Baird
In the girls equivalent…it was Rigtech taking first with Anna Lee Titte…Jael Francis and Ashlee Soo Hon of Madonna grabbed 2nd and 3rd respectively
Reon Shepherd reigned supreme in the Men’s tinymites…the Rigtech rider was followed by Tyler La Foucade of hummingbirds International Ricardo Titte of Vapor Wake
In the Junior Women’s event it was Arielle greaves of Barbados coming in first…with Kyla Hospedales of Team DPS in second and Shameka Hoyte of Vapor Wake third
The juvenile men saw Elisha Green Junior of Team Colesafty Cycling take top spot with Rigtech’s Josiah prince Second and Jahziel Jacob.
