TTT TV Crowned Inter Media Cup Champions After Dramatic Final

A large fraction of the Media and supporters came together on Good Friday for the Annual Inter Media Cup football tournament powered by TTT Limited and it was a fun day for all, even more so for the host team.
The Inter Media Cup has out-grown the TTT Car Park on Maraval Road and has graduated the the pristine facilities at the Police Training Academy known as the Ken Cooke Ground.
Ten teams descended on Long Circular road for the Annual event and they included 104.7 ballers, Next 99.1 knockers, Against All Odds FC, Scorch Radio, the defending champions Toco Strong Media, I95.9 Fete Match, Black Vikings, Media Touring Team, Media Mill Apex FC and TTT TV.
Following 20 rapid fire matches in group stage competition it came down to the final four with TTT TV and Media Touring team qualifying for the semi final from group B while 104.7 and Scorch radio advanced from Group A
TTT Weather anchor Zanna James, one of the two females in the contest was eager to get the the final four started
Both semi finals went to penalty shoot outs with Scorch out duelling Media Touring team and TTT TV prevailing over 104.7
The final was also a tight affair and penalties were also needed for the decided it was the longest of the evening’s shotouts at the Barracks with both team scoring 5 and missing two before TTT score and Scorch needed to match in order to continue…
They did not…and pandemonium broke out at the Barracks.
With Corporate partners Digicel, Blue Waters, AA Laquis, Kenny’s Sports, Fan Fashion 804 and Sunshine Snack on the project a laden presentation of awards followed with the decorated Best Tent going to Against All Odds
Jodel Carter was the big scorer on the day taking the Golden boot with 6 goals followed by Rouse of I95.5 and Dodds of Media Touring Team both with 5…Best Defender was Kester Sears of TTT and the MVP Jovani Abraham also from TTT TV
Taking third place were tournament regulars Media Touring team, while newcomers Scorch Radio collected their prizes for second place
Acting CEO of TTT Limited Kimoy Thomas-Williams was on hand to hand over the Champions trophy to TTT Limited
and the Jollification resumed.
