Union Says Salary Review “Not Comprehensive,” Eyes Strike Vote

BNATUC President Belinda Wilson insists most teachers received only “crumbs” from the latest adjustments, saying the government never conducted a full review of all 17,000 civil servants. Wilson goes on to say that an internal union poll shows overwhelming support for industrial action, although it’s not been determined which means the alliance will use to enact it.
On November 27, the Office of the Prime Minister announced that 17,000 civil servants received their salary review adjustments.
