URP DELIVERS 548 BENCHES TO TOBAGO PRIMARY SCHOOLS
The Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and Urban Development is addressing the need for new school furniture through the Unemployment Relief Programme in Tobago.
The initiative, part of the Division of Education, Research and Technology’s School Readiness Programme, has resulted in the construction of over 548 single-seater benches for primary schools across the island. The benches have already been delivered and are ready for students to use. The programme provides both essential infrastructure for schools and valuable work opportunities for the community.
The project highlights the collaboration between various THA divisions.
