UWP GUY JOSEPH EXPLAINS SOURCE OF CASH, DENIES VOTE-BUYING, POINTS FINGER AT SLP RIVALS
United Workers Party Deputy Leader and losing candidate for Castries Southeast, Guy Joseph, on Thursday, again forcefully denied allegations that he was engaged in vote-buying on election day, December 1st.
The former minister, who lost his seat, addressed the media in a December 4 interview, clarifying the presence of a large sum of cash that was allegedly found by police.
Joseph asserted the money was a last-minute political donation from a supporter when officers confronted him.
