UWP RALLIES IN ANSE-LA-RAYE HOURS AFTER PIERRE CALLS DEC. 1ST ELECTION
The political temperature across the island escalated sharply following Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre’s declaration of a December 1st general election. The Opposition United Workers Party (UWP) wasted no time in mounting a vigorous response, during a major campaign rally in the Anse-La-Raye/Canaries late Sunday evening.
