UWP Rejects Chastanet Resignation Until Convention(DECEMBER 9TH, 2025)
The United Workers Party’s National Council has refused Allen Chastanet’s latest attempt to resign, keeping him as political leader until the party’s next convention after reviewing its recent election defeat. With Chastanet as the only UWP candidate to win a seat, he will continue steering the party through its rebuilding period while the SLP holds firm control of Parliament.
