Veteran Broadcaster Edison Carr Passes Away
Veteran broadcaster and journalist Edison Carr has passed away.
His smooth voice made waves during his time on Radio Trinidad.
It was during his career at the station, located on Maraval Road, Port of Spain, that he was held hostage during the July 27th 1990 attempted coup.
He continued his media career, eventually moving on from Radio Trinidad and lending his voice and insight to other media houses.
Mr. Carr’s extensive media knowledge was sought after by many other voices in the media, and he was always willing to give practical advice on the media landscape, provide intense voice training, and share invaluable broadcasting skills.
