From page to performance, and from poetry to powerful personal expression — the legacy of Saint Lucia’s Nobel Laureate Sir Derek Walcott came alive today as young creatives transformed his iconic poem Love After Love into music, movement, imagery and voice. The Cultural Development Foundation hosted the Walcott Expressions Competition prize-giving ceremony, celebrating bold reinterpretations of Walcott’s work and proving that decades later, his words are still inspiring new generations of Saint Lucian artists.
