Arkansas BBB warns of rising social media rental scams, provides prevention tips

If you are looking for a rental home or a home to buy, the Arkansas Better Business Bureau (BBB) wants to warn you of possible rental scams on social media. Communications Director Cara Carlin with the BBB said just this year they have had six reports of these scams and many more in the past few years. "What we see a lot of the time, and it is important to know, con artists will use real photos and descriptions stolen from other sites so the ads look convincing," said Carlin.
