Caribbean Grains official cheque handover ceremony

As pledged, Caribbean Grains Saint Lucia Limited donated $4,000 (proceeds from the company's recent participation in the Saint Lucia-Taiwan Partnership Trade Show) to the Ubuntu Movement's SEEDS Community Resource Centre in Vieux Fort. This social intervention, aimed at redirecting youthful energies towards more positive outcomes, further demonstrates the impact of government, civil society and private sector collaboration. Commerce Minister Emma Hippolyte, Permanent Secretary Sophia Alfay-Henry, Deputy Permanent Secretary Charmaine Louis-Justin, Director of Consumer Affairs Wendy Frederick, other members of staff of the Ministry of Commerce, Caribbean Grains' CEO Xavier de Moussac, General Manager Osmond Davy and CFO Eddie Antoine, Honourable Priest Kailash Leonce (Ubuntu Movement representative) and Dr. Stephen King (RISE St. Lucia Inc. representative) were in attendance at the handover on Thursday 7th December, 2023.
