In February, the Uganda National Meteorology Authority (UNMA) released its seasonal forecast for March to May, indicating that the country would experience enhanced rainfall during that period. Already, parts of the country are experiencing floods that have destroyed livelihoods and displaced thousands. Across the border, in Kenya and Tanzania, floods are also ravaging parts of the countries.
