GOVERNMENT SENATORS LAUD PROGRESSIVE BUDGET BUT OPPOSITION CASTS DOUBT

Government senators welcomed the Philip J. Pierre administration's announcement of a minimum livable wage to be rolled out on August 1st, 2024. Senator Lisa Jawahir is the latest to support the initiative. However, leader of opposition business in the senate, Dominic Fedee, contends the 2024 budget policies will lead the island to ruin.
