IFBB President gives thumbs up to local bodybuilding

The two big bodybuilding events currently on at the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, are being graced with presence of International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation President Dr. Rafael Santonja. Dr. Santonja, who is on his first trip to Barbados for the ongoing 2024 Roger Boyce Classic and IFBB World Cup, is impressed with the great tradition of bodybuilding in Barbados. He was speaking this morning during a media briefing at the Wildey Gym, in the company of Sports Minister Charles Griffith and representatives of the local bodybuilding association. Minister Griffith says there is a major resurgence in the sport locally, and targeting the youth is vital.
