Island's Minister Urges Living Wage for Struggling Workers | Gov't Faces Tough Challenge

The island`s Minister for Labour says that government will have to face the inescapable challenge of establishing a Living Wage for some workers whose salaries cannot finance their basic needs. A recently established Minimum Wage Commission recently charged with formulating recommendations to address the issue , has presented its suggestions to the Cabinet of Ministers. The government is yet to indicate whether any of the ideas will be implemented. Miriam Montoute begins our news coverage.
