Israel-Hamas War: Mother Of American Hostage Asks For Global Support To Mark 100 Days Of Captivity

Hersh Goldberg-Polin was last seen on October 7, when Hamas militants loaded him into the back of a pickup with others abducted from a music festival where they killed at least 260 people. The 23-year-old Berkeley, California, native lost part of an arm when the attackers tossed grenades into a temporary shelter where a group of young people had taken refuge. Goldberg-Polin, described by his mother as a survivor, tied a tourniquet around the wound and was ordered out of the shelter before being bundled into the truck. It is 100 days since he and around 240 others were taken hostage by militants who stormed into southern Israel, triggering the latest war between Israel and Hamas.
