Actor Alec Baldwin has asked for the court to dismiss the charges of involuntary manslaughter after the 2021 deadly shooting of 42-year-old cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his movie “Rust”. Baldwin was indicted on one count of involuntary manslaughter back in January. The film's armorer, Hannah Gutierrez, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and faces up to 18 months behind bars.
