Chandrababu Naidu was born on April 20, 1950, in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati district. He was born to Nara Kharjura Naidu and his wife Amanamma in an agricultural family. He has a brother, Nara Ramamurthy Naidu and two younger sisters. At the age of 25, he joined the Indian Youth Congress and became the president of its local chapter in Pulicherla. He became a supporter of Sanjay Gandhi after the emergency was imposed in 1975.
