Mental Health Training Session For Standards 4 And 5 Students

Children transitioning to teen-hood require special attention for their mental health to remain well intact. The Gender and Child Affairs Division in the Office of the Prime Minister, aware of this, is targeting Standard 4 and 5 students to receive mental health care training this month. Child Affairs Division Coordinator, Irma Bailey-Reyes, said it is because students in these classes are transitioning to Secondary Schools. Ms. Bailey-Reyes said the programmes will increase support for children to cope with their own stresses in life.
