Onslaught continues on northern Gaza hospitals: AJE correspondent

Al Jazeera's Tareq Abu Azzoum reports from Deir el-Balah in central Gaza on the deteriorating situation facing hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip. Kamal Adwan Hospital, targeted twice overnight by Israeli artillery, and al-Awda Hospital are particularly affected. Medics at al-Awda Hospital describe Israeli soldiers causing destruction, including damaging hospital doors, and using loudspeakers to instruct patients and families to evacuate. The medical director of Al-Aqsa Hospital warns of insufficient fuel to power generators, stating that without electricity, "all the patients will be condemned to death." The last two functioning hospitals in northern Gaza’s Jabalia region remain under siege as Israel’s army continues to target them with artillery and gunfire.
