Over 40 people trapped in a collapsed building in George

A rescue operation is underway in George in the Western Cape, to find over forty workers trapped after a building collapsed. Several people have been rescued, but exact numbers are not yet known. The collapse has resulted in the closure of Victoria street and the municipality's offices which are in adjacent York Street.
