PAC accuses under secretary of UGX 19B loss in goat procurement

Parliamentarians on the Public Accounts Committee have accused the interdicted Under Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister of causing a financial loss of over 19 billion shillings during the botched procurement of over 73,000 goats. The goats were meant to be distributed among the people of Karamoja, but most of them have since died, and some beneficiaries never received them.
