PILGRIMS FROM KABALE DIOCESE BEGIN JOURNEY TO NAMUGONGO

Over 190 pilgrims from the Kabale Diocese including districts of Kabale, Rubanda, and Kisoro, have began their 10-day pilgrimage to the Namugongo shrine for the Uganda Martyrs Day celebrations. The pilgrims departed from Rushoroza Cathedral at 5 am, led by Alphonse Biraaho. They plan to make several stopovers before arriving at Namugongo on May 31st. Amidst songs of praise, worship, and prayer, some pilgrims shared that they would use this journey to pray for peace and stability in the country.
