Quest to replace Raila in ODM and Azimio

When the African Union Council of ministers dropped proposals on gender and delegated the east African region to decide who runs for the AU Commission chair position, they also unintentionally cleared the stage for Azimio chief Raila Odinga to become the next chair of the African union commission, and that decision now also sets the stage for a clear succession battle in both the Azimio coalition and ODM party following what appears like an eminent exit of raila odinga from local politics. Odinga has now mapped out his itinerary, seeking to convince the rest of Africa that he is the best candidate to Unite Africa.
