Senate Debates Budget With Opposition Senators Calling For More Transparency From PM

On Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, senators met to debate the 2024/2025 Appropriation Bill. Government Senator, Lisa Jawahir, is optimistic about the plans which the government is to implement as part of its “year of infrastructure.” However, the opposition senators are calling for more information and transparency concerning the information within the budget presented by the prime minister.
