A Bangkok hospital official says 20 passengers from Singapore Airlines fatal SQ321 Flight remain in intensive care after the plane hit an air pocket and experienced severe turbulence. Among the dozens injured and one dead, 41 passengers were still receiving treatment at Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital on Thursday, according to Adinun Kittiratanapaibool, the institution’s director. He also revealed 22 patients had sustained spinal injuries and 20 remain in intensive care. The oldest patient at the hospital is 83-years-old and the youngest, a two-year-old child who suffered a concussion, Kittiratanapaibool later told reporters. Aside from the injuries sustained by dozens of others, a 73-year-old British man with an alleged heart condition died aboard the flight.
