Strong Southerly Winds Carried The Orangey-brown Dust From The Sahara Region Over Much Of Southern And Central Greece, Imposing A Carroty Filter Over Athens Particularly In The Last Hours Of Daylight. A Shift In Winds Forecast For Wednesday Is Expected To Start Clearing Greek Skies And Bring A Dip In Temperatures, Which In Parts Of The Southern Island Of Crete Tuesday Exceeded 30 Degrees Celsius (86 Fahrenheit).
