Uganda signs IGAD charter for free movement

Uganda has signed a charter on the free movement of people within the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) member states. According to Gen. Jeje Odong, the Foreign Affairs Minister, the ratification will enable member states to have a collective voice and promote business collaboration in the region. This comes after seven years of consultation within member states.
