State-of-the-Art Hospital Completed Following Devastating Blaze.(September 9th 2025)
Sixteen years after the devastating fire that destroyed St. Jude Hospital, Saint Lucia stands on the brink of a long awaited transformation in public healthcare. As of September 9, 2025, most construction on the new hospital facility is complete. The new facility, set to double current bed capacity, will enable expanded clinical, diagnostic and support services. This long overdue transition marks a critical step toward restoring and strengthening the island’s healthcare system.
