Call for more LGBTQI+ tolerance

An Anglican Priest is calling for more tolerance for the LGBTQI+ community. Senator the Reverend Canon Dr. John Rogers states that this is a matter requiring a global discussion and the church has to be a part of the conversation. Reverend Rogers, Rector and Rural Dean of the St. John Deanery at the St. George Parish Church, says there has also been much public outcry about gay pride parades. However, he says it is the church's position not to judge but to meet people where they are in life. He was speaking this morning during the third Sunday after Pentecost sermon at the St. George Parish Church.
