Canada becomes 1st country to have individual cigarette warning labels

Canada became the first country in the world to have individual warning labels on each cigarette after its regulations officially rolled out on Tuesday, with king-size cigarettes the first to be wrapped with the new information. Warning labels on cigarette packaging isn't new, but this is the first time any country has put the labels directly on the cigarettes themselves, with advocates hoping it will help deter smoking further as people will see the warning as they light up.
