Columbine 25 years later: US lawmakers struggle to reduce gun violence decades after tragedy

It’s been 25 years since two senior students entered Colorado’s Columbine high school and opened fire, killing a teacher and 12 fellow students. At that time, the kind of violence at a school was unthinkable. But Columbine wasn’t America’s first mass school shooting, nor would it be its last.
