St. Cyprian's honours heroes

The St Cyprian's Anglican Church has honoured 11 people it considers to be heroes, as Barbados marks National Heroes Day. The honourees were selected for their outstanding contribution to society in a variety of fields. They are Franklyn Gill, Daisy Clarke, Desmond Weekes, Geoffrey "Biggie Irie" Cordle, Marilyn Rice-Bowen, Angela Barrow, Harriett Gill, Grace Wickham, Jacqueline Holder, Eleanor Blackman and Muhammad Nassar. It was also announced during the service that the church will return to the use of shared/common cup for the administration of Consecrated wine during Holy Eucharist from Sunday, May 5.
